I’m offering my bright, fully furnished one-bedroom apartment in Verdun, Montreal from December 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. I’ll be returning on May 1, so I’m looking for someone who can ideally stay for the full five-month period and treat the apartment with the same care they would their own home. The apartment was completely renovated five years ago and is comfortable, peaceful and very well insulated for Montréal’s winter. It would be an excellent fit for a visiting academic, researcher, professional, remote worker, or couple relocating to Montréal and wanting a welcoming, move-in-ready home while getting settled. The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area and a dedicated workspace with a sit-stand desk. The spacious bedroom has a large window, blackout blinds and plenty of closet space. There are beautiful hardwood floors throughout, generous storage, a large shower, and full-size in-unit washing and drying machines. The apartment is on a quiet residential street in Verdun, with an IGA grocery store and Jean Coutu pharmacy just steps away. It offers convenient metro access and is close to the cafés, restaurants and shops of Wellington Street, as well as Verdun’s waterfront and walking paths. Dogs and cats are welcome. Street parking is available and, in my experience, is never an issue to find. Paid parking is available but not necessary. Rent is CAD $1,750 per month. Hydro and internet are not included. I would be happy to hear a little about you, what brings you to Montréal, who would be staying in the apartment, and whether the complete December 1–April 30 period works for you.
