The house features a private back balcony and garden, two separate office/studio spaces and ample living space on 3 levels, making it suitable for both academic couples and families. The well-equipped kitchen with centre island opens into a sun-filled dining and living room area. The basement level is a multi-functional space that includes an attractive office/library, cosy home “movie theatre” (with 4K movie projector, sofa) and guest quarters with a beautiful, hand-crafted mates bed. Three bus routes connect to downtown Halifax via bridges or scenic and frequent harbour ferries. Two French language schools (elementary and secondary) within 15 min walking distance. Several urban lakes (with swimming, boating clubs for all ages), parks and trails are all within short walking or biking distance, and the pristine, sandy beaches and wilderness areas of the Atlantic coast are only 20 minutes away.
