Charming home with easy bus ride to UCLA near Sawtelle restaurants/shops

Quiet West Los Angeles home in a walkable neighborhood only a few blocks from the center of the Sawtelle district, an historic Japanese American community and current home to great Asian and ethnic restaurants and popular dessert spots (best Hokkaido ice cream, Korean shave ice, sushi, ramen, boba and more). Bus stop is only 4 blocks away and takes you straight to UCLA. Trader Joe's is 6 blocks west and Nijiya Market is 3 block east. Convenient to Venice and Santa Monica beach and boardwalk as well as Century City and Westwood. Easy to get to museums like the Getty and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Petersen Automotive Museum, La Brea Tar Pits, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Hammer Museum, among other sights. You can't beat the convenience of this location...it's a little oasis in an upbeat urban hub. The home is very comfortable and cozy with a fully equipped kitchen and relaxing living room. Master bedroom has a queen bed and secondary bedroom has a double bed with a standing desk and double monitors that makes for a nice office, with WiFi available. We have subscriptions to Netflix, Apple TV and other channels accessible on our television. And our neighbors are very friendly and helpful. I am a professor in my 30th year of teaching and will be spending the last quarter of my sabbatical abroad and just looking for someone or a family who could enjoy our home while we're away. We have a couple of plants that need watering, but that's about it. We prefer a party who can stay the whole quarter, but are open to shorter stays.
