Newton has an excellent school system and has been rated among the safest cities in the U.S. Prior families have come from Germany, Italy, Norway, England, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S.A. for sabbaticals at Harvard, MIT, and other nearby institutions. Our circa 1926 4-BR, 2.5 bath fully-furnished home has been substantially updated over the years, including recent insulation in the exterior walls and new appliances. Six can sleep comfortably on beds with up to four additional guests on sleep sofas. The back yard is private and fenced-in, with well-established plantings and trees, a screened-in porch, a deck, and a brick patio. Basement The basement has a large finished room useful as a playroom, music or hobby area, or extra guest space.
