Cité Universitaire is a short walk away. Velib automated bicycle hire just round the corner. Easy transit to/from Orly and Charles de Gaulle airports: by RER from nearby Denfert Rocherau or Cité Universitaire, and by Air France coach from nearby Gare de Montparnasse. Within pleasant walking distance of Parc Montsouris, Jardin de Luxembourg, trendy rue Daguerre, the Paris Catacombes, and bustling Montparnasse, which is also a mainline rail station. Alésia is very French, with a strong feeling of neighbourhood and safe. Well served for restaurants, cinemas, gym, some of Paris's top bakers and butchers, Les Halles veg&fruit next to fresh fishmonger and good cheese shop. Three supermarkets within 2 minutes walk, and several more beyond. Regular street market, and December food fair offers specialty cheeses, smoked meats, and other goodies from Southwest France and the Pyrénées. The flea market at Porte de Vanves is an easy walk away. Aspect: 4th floor apartment with East-West orientation gets morning sunlight in bedroom and afternoon in living&dining rooms/study. It also produces a cool breeze in summer. Well insulated for winter with double-glazing and independent central heating. Window ledge can seat two, for reading on sunny days! Comments: Excellent public transport routes, close to well-known sites such as Parc Montsouri (my favourite in Paris), Porte de Vanves flea market, the catacombs and nearby Montparnasse cemetery with its historic figures, and pleasant walks to Jardin de Luxembourg, Sorbonne, and more.
Comments: Regular cleaning will be provided every two weeks, and charged as an extra at €80 monthly.
Comments: A security deposit of one month's rent will be required, and advance payment of first and last months' rent. A cleaning charge of €80 will be deducted from the security deposit when it is refunded at the end of the tenancy.
