The area is also well suited for biking, Spectacular beach nearby at Boundary Bay Provincial Park. 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver, 15 minutes from Ferry terminal for Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands, Large shopping mall on the way to the ferries. This could be a great writer's retreat or a base to visit spectacular sites in British Colombia. Reifel Bird Sanctuary in the next small town of Ladner. Whister ski resort is a 2 hours drive, wineries in the Okanagan Valley are 4 hours away.
