BELSiZE PARK/HAMPSTEAD perfect for couple / spacious in great location

Another Sabbatical Homes success story! We stayed in this charming top-floor flat for a month, and hope to return. The flat itself was an extraordinary value--comfortable, roomy, well-equipped, spotlessly clean and full of terrific art. It's on a side street, but close to the tube and bus stops, with shops, restaurants, and Hampstead Heath all in easy walking distance. We already knew the area, so acclimated quickly, but our hosts made our stay even more memorable. Gracious and generous, they were always available but never intrusive. Really lovely people! We quickly felt at home in their home, and count ourselves lucky to have made this match.

We recently spent 6 weeks at this flat and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is spacious, comfortable and well-furnished. We really appreciated how well-outfitted the kitchen was--rare for a short-term rental. Melissa is an accomplished cook herself and it shows in the way she's stocked it: plenty of pots/pans/gadgets, plus plates/cutlery/glassware all to a high standard.

The flat is on a quiet street, yet enjoys a very convenient location; several charming retail areas are within 5 minutes' walk, so plenty of groceries, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The bus stop is 1/2 block away and the nearest Tube station is a 5-minute walk-12min to central London.

Anthony and Melissa are charming hosts--we really enjoyed getting to know them!

M and A are generous and gracious hosts. The flat is gorgeous, filled with a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings and the most beautiful rugs, as well as M's own paintings. The kitchen and bath are modern with all conveniences, the bed is quite comfortable, and enormous windows fill the flat with light from every direction.
Belsize Park is a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance of Camden Town, Primrose Hill, Regent's Park, and of course Hampstead and the Heath. There are excellent farmer's markets, bakeries, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and museums (Freud!) just minutes away. Belsize Park Station (Northern line) is a short walk from the flat. I absolutely recommend the flat and the area for a stay in London and hope to return.

This is the nicest place I have ever stayed in in London, in all respects. The apartment, located on the second floor of the hosts' home, is bright, spacious and serene. The bedroom overlooks a beautiful tree.

The apartment is extremely tastefully furnished. It has wonderful light and lots of windows. The bathroom and kitchen have skylights. The entire apartment is impeccably clean. The heat and hot water work well.

The location is also excellent. The apartment is close to the tube and grocery stores. It is in a wonderful, peaceful neighbourhood, walking distance from primrose hill and hampstead heath.

The hosts are wonderful people, very responsive, down to earth, and welcoming. I would love to stay here again.

Their home is a block off High Street, the noise is reduced, yet quickly accessed by a short walk. My favorite feature were the motion detecting low lights in the bathroom, near the front door. They were most helpful to orient you upon arrival or if you woke at night. The bedroom is spacious enough to lay out your suitcases or do yoga/exercises. A separate office gives space for quiet work. The kitchen is well equipped/remodeled with an old world look yet a modern functionality. Bathroom is also remodeled with a shower. The flat is up two floors of stairs, so you'll be stronger after your stay, but stairs are carpeted and quiet. The host kept their doors to the stairway closed so it felt like a private entrance. We plan to stay again.

We have lots of experience with short term apartment lets and are happy to report that this flat offered by Anthony and Melissa is one of the best. Well fitted out and very comfortable. In a lovely neighborhood with quick access to the Northern Line. Best of all, the two hosts are very friendly and generous with their help and support. We highly recommend this flat.

Having leaved in London for more than 10 years in the past and returning after some time for a short sabbatical, I was a bit apprehensive on trying to find a short let to accomodate me and my family for a few weeks. Enter the Bermans! They made our stay one of the most memorable. The flat (situated on the second floor of the house) was immaculate in all aspects, with all amenities included (including WiFi internet connection). The house is situated in a quite street, but only 2 minutes walk from alway vibrant Belsize Park and 10 minutes walk to Hampstead. This makes it ideal if you want to work in a nice and quite surrounding, and at the same time having an excellent selection of restaurants and coffee shops to visit. To the advantages of the house, one has to add the extremely easy quick and easy access to the city centre and the touching hospitality of the Bermans. Highly recommended!

I stayed with the Bermans for a month this summer and was delighted with their beautiful flat and their kind hospitality. The flat is even lovelier than the photographs indicate--modern, spacious, clean and completely equipped. Moreover, Melissa and Anthony were extremely kind and helpful, directing me to neighborhood services (including a terrific local hairdresser) and answering any questions I had. Although I had visited London several times before, I was unfamiliar with Hampstead which proved a delight and a wonderful refuge from the central London crowds. Bottom line: in many years of travel, the Berman's flat was the nicest summer rental I've had.
