1 bed. relax in Gardens or Town/Hyde Park/London University/British Library

I have already written about some of the things I liked in my response to my hosts's review (Please check that) but, to reiterate--the apartment was in a great location, very convenient to local transport, and near an ATM, restaurants, and a couple of grocery stores. The place was safe, comfortable, and had all the conveniences one might need, perfect for a solo traveler (or a couple who are on good terms.). My hosts were extremely kind and great sources of information. The price was very reasonable, particularly for London, and I would recommend my hosts and their apartment without reservation. My tip for a hidden gem known to locals wouild be Wigmore Hall. The concert hall is a short walk away, and is lovely---superb music at low cost.

I stayed in Rima's flat for almost 6 months & found it a very well-situated base for an academic working in London. In times without covid lockdowns it would be even better! As it was, the flat is well-designed so it seems more spacious than it initially looks. The 'kitchen corner' cupboards are a great feature -- as is the underfloor heating, which made it very warm & cosy (& helped clothes dry easily). The larger complex is mostly very quiet (the kindy next door can be noisy) with lovely gardens. Hyde Park is practically across the road, and good supermarkets and restaurants are all nearby. Rima was a very hospitable landlady meeting for tea & extremely responsive to any problems, e.g. ordering a new vacuum cleaner the day after it broke.

My wife & I spent 5 weeks in this lovely apartment during August & September 2022.

The apartment is spacious & clean with all one could want including a large living/ bedroom at the front & an eat-in kitchen at the rear which overlooks a small court yard. The separate full bath is clean & pleasant.The unit is quiet & private.

Good light in all rooms & privacy shutters ,when needed, can be shut in the living area.

The host lives uptairs in the same building and is very welcoming ,always helpful & never intrusive. It was a delight staying in this apartment, one block form Hyde Park &Edgware Road & near the Marble Arch Tube. Book this apartment in central London. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended to all!

My wife and I spent a wonderful two weeks in this delightful, quiet ground-floor flat in the middle of London. It is very well appointed with everything you could need for a short stay; and is ingeniously designed to maximise the use of space. Rima is an excellent host, and provided us with lots of useful information before our arrival. Highly recommended!

My recent stay at the flat in St. George's Field was very enjoyable. The combination of being surrounded by extensive gardens yet still being in close proximity to the center of London is unique. The small shops and restaurants in nearby Connaught Village are charming and convenient. The landlords live quite close by and are very helpful. I hope to return to this, or another of the flats rented by Rima, in the near future.
