We own a newly built stone house and a studio, both nestled in the serene coastal village of Koundouros, Kea, just a short journey from Athens, Greece; yet a world away from everyday life. Designed with a deep respect for the island’s traditional architecture and infused with modern simplicity, this cozy retreat complex is perfect for couples, solo travelers or small families seeking calm, comfort, and immersion to the Mediterranean way of life. The apartment and studio are situated just 700 meters from the lively Porto Koundouros beach compound, featuring a bar, restaurant and organized beach. A bit further you find Koundouraki beach, offering a variety of water sports, as well as other untouched, non-organized beaches. Our house features a sizable living room with a sofa-bed, dining area and large kitchen, a modern bathroom with a shower and bidet, and two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with loft beds). All areas are air-conditioned (rarely needed) and are also equipped with ceiling fans. There is a front terrace, as well as a large covered veranda with magnificent sea views, ideal for relaxation in the morning, afternoon or evening. Our studio features a double bed that can be used as a sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with a shower, and not one but two outdoor spaces: a front terrace and a sea-facing covered side veranda, ideal for morning coffee or evening wine. The studio is located above and on the side of the house, whose sea-facing veranda is separate and not visible from the studio's. The famous greek sun and the Aegean sea await to offer you a recharging stay! We are looking for a comfortable accommodation either in the heart of historic cities or being close to nature and quiet.
