Gorgeous Late Victorian Townhouse in Buzzy North London.

I am an anthropologist from SOAS, University of London. I'm from Sydney, and am looking to head back home for my sabbatical next year, where I'd like to be based close to the city, uni of sydney and/or beaches. I live with my husband, Hugo, in a beautiful 3 bed house in Seven Sisters. We use the third bedroom as a study, that overlooks North London, and a TV room. Our house has a flourishing garden, and bifold doors that lead directly onto it from the kitchen, perfect for long lunches or fun dinners. We have a lovely, book-filled sitting room, and an area that could be used as a playroom for kids (but we don't have any yet). We have a big, standing bath and walk in shower. The location is really well placed for academics coming to London to spend time in any of the city's many universities, libraries or archives. It is particularly well located for accessing the British Library and Bloomsbury as it is 10 mins walk to the victoria line. I get to SOAS, door to door, in 27 minutes. The local area is really vibrant. We love the local pubs, and mix of cafés, pubs, green grocers and a fantastic Brazilian butcher. We're close to the huge Downshill park, and go regularly to classes for pilates and the gym. We're a short walk from the Walthamstow Marshes and the River Lea canal. We're looking to come to Sydney between January and May/June. We'd be keen to stay in the inner city, inner west or the East. We're open to periods within that time too, if the whole period wouldn't work.
