Seabreeze, Water View, 2 Bedroom Duplex on Hillside - North Seabreeze Ave

We had a fabulous July stay in Stonington which is a great base for exploring town, Deer Isle and surroundings. The apartment was perfectly-located near the center of town and just off the main street so quiet and calm. Great sliver of a view of the water with a little outdoor seating and peaceful surroundings. Overall, a good size with a useful kitchen and bathrooms on two floors. Our host was available, kind and helpful. Even during a power outage, we were all set with the home's back-up generator. We wish we could have stayed much longer.

I went for one month and stayed for seven! That's how much I loved this place. This house is in a beautiful fishing village on a magical island in Northern Maine. There are many trails all over the island and the views are amazing. House and location exceeded expectations. Quiet, yet in town, so you don't feel too far off the beaten path. I loved it here and would return in a second.

At the Seabreeze in May, we witnessed a second coming of spring in Maine. Trees unfurled, forsythia bloomed, the days lengthened. Our accomodations were clean, comfortable, and expertly outfitted which made us feel instantly at home. Situated on a sunny hill above Stonington harbor, the peace was palpable, yet one has a front row seat to the comings and goings of the work-a-day lobstering life of the town. An inspiring and restful stay, arranged with ease by a responsive and amiable host. Thank you Judith!
