A lovely, newly refurbished and decorated garden flat, in a green and quiet street of Muswell Hill, an Edwardian village teeming with interesting, independent shops and boutiques, cafes and restaurants (including a world famous fish and chip shop!) as well as banks and supermarkets (Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer Food, Planet Organic) all within a short walk. There is one very large bedroom and a smaller second bedroom (both with double beds), a double air bed for any extra visitors (blows up electronically), a sitting room with separate dining area overlooking a large, private, decked garden surrounded by trees and shrubs and with a small conservatory overlooking a wildlife pond. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has both a shower and a tub. The apartment will be deep cleaned before any rental - to ensure peace of mind. This neighbourhood has a respectful community which is very mindful of COVID 'security' There is a wonderful, friendly organic grocers and cafe called Owen’s which serves delicious food from breakfast to teatime, just two blocks away. There is also an Everyman Cinema up the road and the famous, independent, 'Phoenix Cinema' nearby which opened in 1910 and is one of the oldest cinemas in the UK. Buses to central London, Highgate and Finsbury Park underground stations are a five minute walk away, and you can be in central London - and King’s Cross/St.Pancras/Euston stations - within 30 minutes. The 43 and 143 buses run all night. There is masses of green space in all directions with ALEXANDRA PALACE which has an ice skating rink, numerous gigs and events and a Sunday morning Farmers’ Market, a 5 minute walk away. HIGHGATE WOOD and the charming HIGHGATE VILLAGE (and Highgate Cemetery) are a twenty minute walk, Hampstead village & Hampstead Heath (and Kenwood House) about 2 miles and Camden Town & Camden Market are about 4 miles. Staying here lets you experience the best of life in London - even in these difficult times...providing a green, quiet haven to live and work in. The apartment has free on street parking and is conveniently located for easy access to most London Universities (e.g. Birkbeck, SOAS and UCL can be reached in 20 minutes, LSE in 25), Whittington, UCL, and Middlesex Hospitals. The rental fee of £500 weekly is for two bedrooms, but I would rent as a one bedroomed apartment for £350 weekly. Both fees include all bills, Council Tax, Service Charge, Electricity, Broadband wireless internet & TV.
