Beautiful garden studio, close to city, parks and public transport

Our lovely three weeks in Melbourne began from the day we arrived. Perry's family and Dashi, their dog, warmly welcomed us with Japanese ingredients, Panettone, and wine for Christmas. They let us pick fresh vegetables from their garden daily. On sunny days, we swam in the pool next to the studio, and on rainy days, we enjoyed playing table tennis in the studio's warehouse, sometimes with Perry's family joining us —truly dreamlike days.

We will never forget the Sunday we visited the botanical garden with Perry's family and had a farewell barbecue in their garden. Sharing common interests, we enjoyed communicating regularly. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality and look forward to the day we can meet again in Japan.

We stayed in the garden studio for 6 weeks. Right from the beginning we enjoyed it immensely. It's a most wonderful garden with a pool, a beautiful terrace and inside the studio is perfectly clean and comfortable. Perry, his wife and his son were very kind and their responsiveness was always very quick. We could even borrow a bike from them. In their lovely garden we were allowed to help ourselves to tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants and limes - which tasted as good as they looked. You feel in nature but you are very close to the city (10 min ride with train or tram). Also, supermarkets and shops are very close by. So, we can highly recommend staying at Perry's place. It was a great pleasure for us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two months on this stunning property consisting of a main house where the owners live and a studio for guests. The studio is on a separate, lushly landscaped private plot with a shared swimming pool. The accommodations and linens were high end and very comfortable. The studio includes a 4-burner gas stovetop, microwave with convection oven capability, small refrigerator, dishwasher, and washing machine. Perry and his family were fantastic and attentive hosts -- they made us feel so welcome, like staying with family. The location is just 5K/3M from CBD in a quiet inner-city suburb within easy walking distance of parks, coffee shops, markets, and public transportation. We look forward to returning in the future.

I have just enjoyed a week's stay at this beautiful abode. Both hosts were very welcoming, going out of their way to meet my every request. I even got to consume veggies from their delightful gaden. The studio is luxurious, comfortable and very tastefully furnished, with a separate kitchen and a lovely outdoor seating area accompanying the wonderful pool, This would have to be the top favourite for me in terms of interstate accommodation. The area is vibrant and shops close by to service your every need. I hope to come back and stay again in this peaceful space.

I stayed at Perry's studio for 5 weeks for research purposes. This place is unique and recommended to anyone looking for a place you can feel like being home. Very quiet, still central and in a great spot of smaller quality shops, cafes, friendly neighborhood and green space. Perry and his whole family have been lovely hosts.

Great apartment, great location, and friendly owners! We stayed here for 6 months (January - July 2019) while I was on appointment as a Fulbright Scholar in the CBD. We found the neighborhood delightful and safe, and the CBD was just a short train or tram ride away. Several good shops, parks, cafes, and restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay; the shared pool was wonderful in the hot weather! The owners were always quick to respond to any requests and address any issues that arose. We highly recommend this unit, and are looking forward to coming back some day!
