Aix hideaway

Description

Our home in Provence for four months of the year is a house in a village called Rognes 20 minutes from to Aix en Provence, 10 minutes from PuyRicard. To experience being at home in Provence this is the perfect spot to be. All the attractions of a typical Provence village with everything you need on your doorstep and within a stone’s throw away, vineyards in abundance, rivers, chateaux, music and theatre festivals, walks, wonderful food, markets and not to forget warmth and sun. And all of this using as your base a very private, secluded house in the village with a walled garden, pool, several terraces, both in shade and sun, and garage. The house is very old, built of Rognes stone, the same stone used to build the gorgeous mansions in Aix en Provence; everyone agrees it is absolutely charming but its difficult to describe on paper.
