My house is a modern comfortable two bedroom house of about 850 square feet (80 square metres). The kitchen/living/dining area is approximately 450 square feet (40 square metres). The house is fully furnished and equipped. All utilities, TV and internet are included in the rental price. My house is ideal if you want to live in a quiet, natural setting with direct access to the city. It is on Toronto's Ward's Island, a car-free community that is accessible by ferry directly from downtown Toronto. The ferry ride takes about 10 minutes. Access to Toronto's downtown universities, colleges, teaching and research hospitals and Toronto's extensive cultural and other academic institutions is easy and fast. There is a Montessori Daycare and a public school to Grade 6 on the Island at the Island Public and Natural Sciences School. High Schools are easily accessible by public transit on the mainland. My house would particularly suit an academic family or couple with a seasonal posting or who want a quiet environment to finish a dissertation or research paper writing.
