As my partner and I teach abroad throughout the academic school year, we'd love to rent to someone who has a similar schedule - so that we can return to Montreal after the end of school year (in July and August). We are the parents of two little girls; thus, we love our neighborhood for its proximity to parks and playgrounds. That, and its proximity to our favorite restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, butcher shop, fish shop and the many more shops on Bernard and in the Mile-End. Our home is located on a tree-lined street with street parking. The apartment is the second floor of a triplex building. It has two bedrooms, four closets, lots of shelving for books, and a quaint balcony with seating. The apartment is fully furnished. The "parents" bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, 2 night stands, and a tall dresser; The children's bedroom has a twin-sized bunkbed (whose max weight is 250 lbs), a tall dresser, and bookshelf. The bookshelf divides the double salon into the girls' living & play area. That living room has a comfortable sectional couch and a desk and chair for HW and/or reading. We also have a second living room space in the middle of the apartment with an armchair, coffee table, long dresser and sofa. The room with a door leading to our balcony is the room we've designated as our office. It has lots of shelving for books on one wall, a desk & chair, computer, printer and monitor. Our eat-in kitchen has plenty of sunlight throughout the day and great bay windows. The table can seat up to 7 or 8 people. The fully stocked kitchen has an electric stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. We love our little pad and our neighborhood very much. And we hope to find someone who will love, respect and appreciate it too. Oh, and we have amazing neighbors, as well. That's always a plus!

Comments: Our cozy apartment has very desirable amenities - it is located in a residential street just a couple of blocks away from supermarkets, restaurants, & other shops. It is also very close to the underground metro & many other bus routes.
Comments: Our rate includes all utilities (electricity, water, heat and wifi internet), as well as a bi-weekly cleaning service. Also, we require a security deposit of $500 whose refund is contingent upon the state/condition to which the apartment is left.
We have plants that need to be watered weekly or every two weeks. The cleaning person takes care of them when we are not in town, but we'd appreciate it if our plants were cared for by the tenant, as well.

Comments: As we are teaching abroad & live here during the summers, we would prefer to rent to someone with a similar schedule - someone who is working in Montreal temporarily during the school year.
