Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom
This beautiful early 20th Century flat would be perfect for a solo scholar, or couple, looking for a sunlight-filled, quiet space that is also in the heart of one of Manchester's most interesting and vibrant neighbourhoods: Chorlton-cum-Hardy. It is filled with restaurants, cafes, unique shops and delis, arts and music venues, a vegan super market and organic food shops, alongside gyms, yoga studios and farmers markets. Everything you need is within 5 minutes walk from the flat. It is also super easy to reach the Universities in the city centre (15 minutes by bus) or catch a tram straight into the heart of Manchester (10 minutes), with buses and trams every 5 minutes. Leafy Chorlton has loads of green spaces, parks, and woods, and is on the edge of the Chorlton and Sale Water Parks, with abundant opportunities for hiking, walking, and cycling, all on your door step. The flat itself has everything you'll need for your stay. With all utilities and Wi-Fi/High Speed internet included. It is South facing, at the rear of the flat, so is both quiet and filled with sunlight, and is a perfect sanctuary in which to write, research or just stay and relax. And whenever you need a break, there's the abundance of Chorlton just outside your door! The flat also has access to a impressive landscaped communal garden with BBQ area, that receives the sun all day. The city itself is within very easy reach of the glorious Peak District, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and Wales. Manchester is just over two hours by train to London (easy to do as a day trip), and Manchester Airport is an international hub (very easily reached from Chorlton directly by Metro or by taxi).
