Quiet, furnished, 1 bdrm ground level apartment, near Queen's University

I feel so fortunate to have found this lovely self-contained furnished suite for a short-term rental. The hosts are welcoming and responsive. It is a very quiet and private spot, located on the main floor of a large house, but I heard no one above me or beside me in the house. I had everything that I needed and more in the well appointed kitchen. I especially appreciated that I could control the temperature in each room, because I prefer sleeping at a lower temperature, but the gas fireplace in the living room was a cosy place to relax after work. The location is easily accessible to downtown but also to the west end of Kingston. A little gem!

I enjoyed my stay!. Helen's home was well-equipped, quiet and comfortable. Helen and her family were kind and responsive to my needs but respected my privacy. Overall a great introduction to life in Kingston.

We had a great stay for 8 months in 2023. We had recently moved to Kingston and staying there was such a great introduction to the city, as well as a great place to land and to start our lives here. I've already said 'great' 3 times. But honestly that's exactly how we feel. We were super fortunate to have stayed there.

The apartment itself is perfect for 2 people and our cat was so comfortable there as well. The garden views are beautiful, the apartment is well thought out, clean, and comfortable, and the landlords are great (ever so considerate and generous).

Very clean. Very quiet. Convenient walkable location. Reliable wifi. Wonderful and kind hosts. Would recommend.

The owner was welcoming and friendly, and we had good communication before and during the stay. She was well organized, and the apartment was nicely set up. We had access to the back garden and a place to park the car in winter (driveway and walk ways were plowed and shovelled). It's a great location in the city, and we were very comfortable there. The only downsides were no laundry and no dishwasher.
