For a long stay, it may be more comfortable for just one guest. It is on the second European floor (third floor by American standards) of a walk-up building, with security ensured by two digicodes. The apartment is equipped with a security door and a high security lock. The Marais is a very trendy area in the centre of Paris known for having the very best of Paris on your doorstep. Step out your door and discover café’s, bars, many restaurants,supermarket, delicatessen, boulangerie... ! Also close to many museums, schools,... This cosy apartment is housed in a 17th-century building in the historic and picturesque centre of the city. High ceiling, exposed beams, a wooden floor and 2 large windows. This compact apartment offers the comfort and functionality for guests staying for a few weeks. The apartment overlooks the lovely courtyard of the building, which is accessible only to the residents. The mezzanine features a double bed. While you can't stand up completely in the mezzanine, the space is quite roomy, comfortable, and provides privacy. It is equipped with an independent light. A few stairs will take you to the mezzanine. If you are two guests and prefer not to share the same bed, you have the option to use the sofa bed in the living area. It is just as comfortable as the bed. The bathroom includes a combined bathtub-shower, a sink, a heater, a washing-machine, WC. Hair dryer. The kitchenette is fully stocked with 2 hot plates, microwave, boiler, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kitchen utensils. There is a wardrobe to store your clothes, and the apartment also has some storage shelves. ***Very close to public transportation as well *** Within 3 minutes walk to "Châtelet-les-halles' train station : hub and meeting point of major Paris transportation (Metro lines 1, 4, 7, 11, 14 and express trains RER lines A, B, D). For instances: Direct access from/to Charles de Gaulle airport and Gare du Nord (Thalys).
