My husband and I acquired this new Mediterranean-style home in the Hills of Contra Costa county in July of 2021. We moved from the noise and hustle and bustle of San Francisco living into a serene, homey neighborhood of El Cerrito hills with breathtaking views of the SF bay and near many beautiful hikes, The house is a ~3200 sq ft space including a completely independent guest house which we have now furnished and made available for hosting guests. The two of us live in the main house with our super friendly 7-year-old American Eskimo furry boy, Kylo. We are a very friendly and quiet couple who like to cook, garden, and have friends over for meals or tea on our deck to enjoy the views and good conversations. The guest house is a newly furnished bright ~600 sq. ft one-bedroom with a private deck & wide Bay Views. Its near Bart, Tilden Regional Park for hiking & biking, 4.5 miles from U.C Berkeley, 25 min drive to SF, and 15 min drive across the Richmond bridge to North bay. About 5 min drive to the infamous Solano Avenue with many great cafes, shopping & numerous local restaurants. Enjoy expansive sunsets on the deck and be inspired by the magnificent views in your own private sanctuary to work, write, live.
