We are artists and educators traveling abroad for a 1/2 year sabbatical and are looking for someone to enjoy and care for our lovingly restored and stylish Victorian home in West Oakland. We have a well established and luxuriant private garden with lots of space for outdoor dining. There is plenty of free on-street parking and its just a 12 minute walk to the local BART station with easy access to San Francisco, downtown Oakland, Berkeley and Emeryville. There are lots of great dining options in nearby Oakland or you can cook up a storm in our recently renovated kitchen.

The garden is lush and tropical and easily maintained. There is a wonderful paved patio area with comfortable outdoor furniture, a gas bbq and an open fire pit. The garden needs occasional watering and sweeping to keep it tidy.

Comments: A spacious house with plenty of natural light. There are two living rooms, a dining room, a recently remodeled kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom with shower and bath, and a separate office upstairs. Downstairs there is a laundry and storage.

Comments: Comfortable and spacious, recently renovated 2-story Victorian home. Private tropical garden with large trees. Easy access to public transit (BART) with 1 stop to San Francisco and 5 stops to Berkeley. Close to the Bay Bridge and local freeways.
