We have two one-bedroom apartments that will be available September 1st. They are very similar. Both are on the 1st floor of a two-story 5-unit building. Each can accommodate 2 persons. One has light from northern and eastern windows and the other from eastern and western windows. The units have 1930's charm with original built-in cabinets and hard wood floors. Each has a sizeable bedroom and living room, full kitchen with gas stove/oven, and a full bathroom with shower and tub. The yard and patio are shared with the house next door and are populated with lovely fruiting and flowering plants and seating areas. UC Berkeley is a comfortable bike ride away. Getting to a lovely bay-side park is a 10-minute drive. Excellent grocery shopping is within walking distance. The home is a five minute walk away from the subway (BART) and a three minute walk to busses that travel to many Bay Area locations.
