We are seeking to rent out our large unfurnished one-bedroom lower-level apartment in our classic DC urban rowhouse on the border between Petworth and Brightwood Park, available immediately. This is a fully separate, spacious apartment with a private entrance, good natural light, a washer and dryer, and a gourmet kitchen with a dishwasher. This is a pet friendly apartment! There is a nice enclosed backyard perfect for polite dogs. Our urban neighborhood is historic, super diverse, really friendly, and loaded with great little independent neighborhood businesses and restaurants. There is a weekend farmers' market a few blocks away. Rock Creek Park and hiking trails are a 15 minute walk away. All the DC universities and the University of Maryland are biking distance away. We are well-served by buses, and there is a metro stop about a mile away. Use of gym and private parking are negotiable. There is plentiful free street parking. We are a queer/trans household, and this apartment is safe for queer and trans people and anyone else who needs to feel safe in the current political climate.
