Bright and calm one-bedroom flat in London

From Start to End, I had an amazing stay in Brixton. The area is very lively and diverse, and especially to UCL extremely well connected on the Victoria Line. Busses go right off the apartment to brixton underground, never needed to check a schedule. The apartment had loads of natural light and a warm athmosphere. I felt at home right away. Ignacio was incredibly responsive towards messages and helping me along the way with tipps and tricks for the neighbourhood. The appartment is big enough to have a refuge from the busy city life.

I really enjoyed my stay there and hope to have the chance to visit again in the future.

Ignacio's flat is a beautiful sanctuary in bustling Brixton Hill. I had a wonderful 5 month stay here while conducting research at the BL. Buses leave every couple minutes from the apartment building to Brixton Station. Beautiful Brockwell Park is a short walk away. The bed was comfortable. The large dining table makes a great work station and has a beautiful view of trees from the large windows. Ignacio even let me use his printer and library while I was staying there. He was easy to communicate with and always understanding. Highly recommend this listing & would love to stay here again in the future.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. A beautifully designed home with everything you need. Ignacio is so thoughful with his communication and recomendations. I felt right at home straight away and would gladly stay here again in the future.

Ignacio's flat in Brixton is a haven. The plants, zen design, modern architecture, the view of a cherry tree (which he'd just planted ), and the quiet served as respite and inspiration. (And the bookshelves--and library!) If it's the season, the foxes can yowl at night, but once you realise they are foxes and not insane ghost babies (I did wonder), it's part of the charm. I had wondered what it would be like to live/work south of the river, but transit was a breeze: bus (or walk) to Tube, and Bob's Your Uncle. Ignacio was responsive and kind. As a small human who considers safety an issue, I can say I felt safe, since Brixton is abuzz. (& groovy.)

A great place for one, and there's a day-sofa if you've a friend over for a a night or two.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ignacio's beautiful and cosy flat. The flat exceeded our expectations in attention to detail, design and comfort (for a couple). The living room in particular is perfectly designed, with a huge working space and beautiful art deco windows. It warms up very quickly. Ignacio has been very kind to leave us a lot of space in the drawers and was flexible with move in / out days. The neighbourhood is lovely, not as gentrified as other areas of Brixton, but still lots of cafes. With the current rental prices, this is a rare find for anyone who enjoys properly connecting with the host. I already miss the area and hanging out on the balcony. Overall the best (sub)renting experience I had in London so far!
