A really comfortable family-sized home, ideally placed for getting to the University of Edinburgh main campus, and convenient too for other campuses and Universities. It has the unusual virtues of being close to the centre of Edinburgh, yet looking out on its own quiet, private garden (about 30 metres by 6 metres). There are bus stops 100 metres away. You don't need a car, for most journeys; we don't have one. (We use the City Car Club which offers short-term hires, for 30 minutes up to a few days, when we need one.) It's an old house, built 1807. We have installed all the modern conveniences, but without changing its character. We are sure you'll like it!
