Calm, practical, comfortable condo in the heart of San Diego

This is a comfortable and nicely furnished open floor, one bedroom condo in a fantastic neighborhood. It is perfect for a single occupant or couple looking for a calm place next to a friendly part of town in the heart of San Diego. There is a queen-size sofa bed in the living room for guests and cute balcony with a little table for a morning coffee. My husband is a writer and I am a professor, so have two desks and a fair amount of books. There is a shared laundry room on the ground floor, which is super convenient. We are on the third floor and get beautiful sunsets. The building itself is very safe and the neighbors are extremely quiet. One of the highlights of our home is its prime location at the juncture of University Heights, Hillcrest and North Park. This is an entirely walkable and extremely well connected part of town, near to coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The Sunday farmer's market just down the road is a delight. We are also a 15 min walk to Balboa Park (near the zoo entrance) and a 10 minute drive to Downtown, Barrio Logan, Coronado and Ocean Beach. It is only a 20 min drive to La Jolla and UCSD using freeways 163, and 8, and 5. There is good public transport that connects with the trolley in 15min.
