I am a professor at UW-Madison, but I do not use this apartment during the summer. It is available May 15, dates flexible. I pay $1250 per month plus parking ($100) and utilities. I am asking for $1200 per month all utilities (except parking) included. If you need my parking spot in the private lot, it's $100/mo. negotiable. The building has a dedicated parking lot. Utilities include gas & electric, water, air conditioning (window unit), and internet. I do not have a TV. High ceilings, crown moulding, new paint and carpet, chandelier, lake and Capitol views, sunny and quiet. This was a hotel suite in the 1930s. Full bath with tub and shower. Fully stocked kitchen with stove, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, blender, etc. Huge walk-in closet (you could even put the bed in there). King bed or twin(s): I decided to add the (removable) partition (see photos) and use stacked twin mattresses. Can be reconfigured. Quiet, mature tenant only. No pets, no smoking. Laundry is located on the lower level, and there is a glorious rooftop deck for all to enjoy. Walk to UW Campus and research library: 5-8 mins. Walk to downtown and Capitol less than 5 minutes.
