The house is full of natural light and has a warm, welcoming feel. The double-height living room features soaring windows, a wood stove, and a floor-to-ceiling library. Amenities include high-speed internet, TV, washer/dryer, dishwasher, video projector, high-quality sound system, and musical instruments (piano, guitar, percussion instruments, electronic drums). The house is perfect for a family of 5 (with 1 room with a king-size bed and 3 rooms with twin beds) and can accommodate more. Two of the twin beds have trundles, the office has a sleeper sofa, and we can also make available a baby cradle, toddler bed, toys, books, and other children's equipment if helpful. Takoma Park is an open, family-friendly, and nature-friendly community with parks, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants, a farmers market, and a strong sense of community.
