I'm looking for a professional or academic who will enjoy making this beautiful Art Deco apartment their home. Ideally, you'll be friendly, respectful, reliable, and take pride in looking after the property as if it were your own. The building has a lovely sense of community, with friendly neighbours who know one another while respecting everyone's privacy. I'd love to find someone who appreciates that kind of environment and will feel at home here. As this is my home when I'm in London, I'm also looking for someone who would be happy to care for the houseplants during their tenancy - they're a much-loved part of the flat. If you're looking for a peaceful, well-connected home in beautiful South East London, close to London Bridge, and value a friendly neighbourhood, I'd love to hear from you. About the Area Located in a vibrant and leafy part of South East London, the flat offers the perfect balance of peaceful residential living and excellent connections into central London. The area is home to a fantastic selection of independent cafés, coffee shops and local restaurants, making it easy to enjoy a morning coffee, weekend brunch or evening out close to home. There's also a wonderful sense of community, with friendly neighbours and a relaxed atmosphere that makes the neighbourhood feel genuinely welcoming. For culture and green space, you'll find the renowned Horniman Museum and Gardens nearby, along with several beautiful parks and open spaces offering panoramic views across London, scenic walks and plenty of places to relax outdoors. Transport links are excellent, with regular National Rail services providing quick journeys to London Bridge, as well as London Overground connections to Canada Water, Shoreditch, Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction. A wide range of bus routes also make travelling across South East and Central London simple and convenient. Whether you're commuting into the city, working from home, or simply looking for a neighbourhood with character, this area offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful place to call home with everything London has to offer within easy reach.
