Our Society Hill townhouse opens onto a quiet cobblestone courtyard and is filled with natural light throughout. The soaring first-floor living room flows directly to a private garden; a mezzanine dining room and fully renovated kitchen (2024) overlook both spaces. Despite being steps from the heart of historic Philadelphia, the setting is peaceful and quiet — when windows are open in spring and summer, you hear birds chirping, not traffic. The three bedrooms are generously sized and spread across the upper floors, each with ample closet space. Two bedrooms are fully equipped home offices with adjustable-height desks and ergonomic chairs. The top-floor loft suite is a private retreat with its own full bath (shower). A second full bath serves the other two bedrooms. The lower level has a new in-unit washer/dryer and a half bath. We are a short walk to excellent cafes and restaurants, Washington Square Park, Headhouse Square (with its weekly farmers' market), and Independence Hall.
