Central Cambridge, river views, short walk to town and colleges

Our home in central Cambridge is comfortable and stylish, with views of the river and Jesus Green. We are a 10 minute walk across Jesus Green into the centre of town, and a similar distance from most of the colleges. We can offer an off-road parking space. The house features hardwood floors, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with large walk-in shower, and a separate clawfoot tub in the second bedroom. The master bedroom with a super king-sized bed is at the front of the house, overlooking the river and the park. The windows are double-glazed but because it faces the street, there is some road noise. The second bedroom is at the back of the house and overlooks the garden. It has a king-sized bed (and the bath!). There is a small office at the front, also overlooking the river and the park. We have almost all modern conveniences including washer/dryer, dishwasher, wifi and smart tv (we don't have terrestrial tv) with almost everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The house is colorful and bright with lots of light. There are two separate living areas downstairs, to the front is a more formal sitting room with a separate dining area, and at the back is a large open space with kitchen, sitting area with tv. This area has bifold doors that open on to the small but lovely garden, with outdoor table and chairs and a BBQ. This is our home, so if you are looking for an "anonymous" place to stay with no personal touches, it probably wouldn't suit. I will remove all personal effects from the bedrooms. Our home is well maintained but it's an older property and thus has signs of wear and tear! We are dog lovers and have two dogs (who will be with us, not at the house!) so although the house will be thoroughly scrubbed from top to bottom there will undoubtedly still be lingering signs of their residency. We would consider renting to those who would like to bring their pooches. We are a c.10-minute taxi ride or 20 minute bike ride to Cambridge train station from where you can get a fast train to London in under 50 minutes. We are also on the local bus routes for buses into town, to the station, or to Addenbrookes hospital.
