Description
I am looking to come to NYC for some time in order to sit at the NYPL main branch’s main reading room (the greatest home office I could imagine!) in order to try to finish a few writing projects. I am a historian, activist, and artist who teaches at a German university, though I am originally from New York (I grew up in Riverdale, in the Bronx) and eventually taught at Columbia for 9 years. This time I am available from September 1st (or late August) until October 11th and would love to arrange an exchange for that whole time or any part of that period. My apartment in Berlin is neat, spacious, bright, and centrally-located.
