Description
This is a 10 year old completely private basement apartment with lots of large windows and an 8 foot ceiling. The kitchen and bathroom provide comfortable, modern finishes and storage. I am happy to offer this as a home away from home for a professional staying in Toronto for a minimum of 28 days. I live upstairs with my cat and am recently retired from my 30 year career in tv news with our public broadcaster, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. I am an active creative person, be it in the garden, in the kitchen, or at a computer keyboard. I love books and academics and hope to finish a Masters degree in my retirement. I am generally quiet and keep to myself, but I am happy to interact with anyone with similar interests: politics, gardening, ecological thinking/practice.

Comments: The length of stay is flexible. The periods suggested are in ~six month increments but can be as short as 28 days or longer. I am flexible but would like to do a quick inspection every three months if your stay is longer than that.
