Holiday/writing family retreat in sunny Hua Hin, Thailand

We are a retired academic couple and have 2 wonderful family freindly villas (Baanthai villas) 2 minutes from the beach in Khao Takiab ,very close to Hua Hin where the King has his Summer Palace. Whilst working in HK over the last 20 years this became our holiday desitination as a family. Baanthai has a big private garden with a pool; it is quiet and totally relaxing. All houses are set up to move into straightaway and have fully functioning kitchens, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and very spacious. The garden also has a coffee shop that makes wonderful Thai and Western food. The beach also has great beach restaurants and a wonderful 5 star resort called Anatasila where you can sip cocktails after your evening walk watching the fishermen go out! Very close to shops and the supermarkets are about 3 kms away that can be accessed by little bus or tuk tuk. Bangkok hospital in Hua hin has the best dentists/medical care at cheap rates...we use them regularly. Our onsite manager is extremely helpful and is available at all times. I'm advertsing these villas on sabbatical homes for the first time as I have used the villas to write, read and relax and would be perfect as a long or short term sabbatical option...or just for a holiday. The location is very safe and ideal for family groups and individuals wanting peace and quiet. It is easy to get to and from Bangkok by car, bus or train. Prices for your stay are negotiable.
