This charming and centrally located apartment in Amsterdam is available for a two to three months period this summer. It is perfect for one person or a couple and offers a warm, comfortable living environment in the heart of the city. The apartment measures 42 square meters (approximately 452 square feet) and is located on the third floor of a traditional Amsterdam building. Please note that the stairs are steep, as is typical in many older buildings in the city. Located in the historic city center, the apartment is within walking distance from the canals and Museumplein, with many of Amsterdam’s cultural highlights close by. The surrounding neighborhood is lively and vibrant, offering a wide range of restaurants, cafés, and bars. The famous Albert Cuyp market and the Heineken Experience are just around the corner. Despite the central location, the street itself is quiet and residential. There is a park nearby, several cinemas close by, and two supermarkets on the same street. All universities and university locations can be reached easily by bike: University of Amsterdam (city center locations): 8 minutes UvA Roeterseiland campus: 7 minutes Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) and VUMC: 16 minutes UvA Science Park: 22 minutes The apartment is also available during SAIL Amsterdam, the city’s major maritime event that takes place once every five years. I am temporarily moving in with my partner and traveling this summer, which is why I am offering my home for rent. The building has a calm and respectful atmosphere, with friendly neighbors who value privacy. The bed is 160x200 cm (bigger than queen sized) and has a newly added mattress topper. This apartment offers a peaceful and comfortable base in a dynamic part of the city, with excellent access to both academic institutions and Amsterdam’s rich cultural life.
