A charming, one bedroom flat in the first floor of an 17th-century historical building in the heart of Trastevere, few steps from Ponte Sisto, Palazzo Corsini, Raffaello's frescoes in Villa Farnesina, and the Botanical Garden. Palazzo Farnese and the daily market in Campo de' Fiori, Palazzo Spada, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and the Jewish neighborood are all reachable in less than a 15-minutes walk. Great location for scholars associated with John Cabot University, as well as the American and Spanish Academies in Rome. In the bedroom there is a large, 18th-century floor-to-ceiling stuccoed high-relief with angels and curtains, to surround an older madonna icon (see photographs). The bedroom has a queen size bed, and in the lounge there is a sofa bed that can accommodate two additional guests. The flat is fully-equipped with air-condtioning, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, and microwave - only dryer is not available. Bills and utilities are included. Housekeeping can be arranged with a lovely and reliable person who knows the flat and the surrounding very well.
