Villa Serenidad is available for vacation rentals; digital nomad stays, as well as for semester-long, sabbatical, and full-year stays. Located in Tao Ocean, a small, tranquil seaside community, the villa is adjacent to the beach town of Akumal (a snorkelers’ paradise), midway between Playa del Carmen & Tulum, & 75 meters from the beach.  Entering Tao Ocean, you'll be greeted by attentive & friendly 24-hour security staff. Parking is free on the very quiet main street. This fully-furnished 3-bedroom, 3-bath villa features a contemporary open-concept design with tile floors & high ceilings. All indoor rooms connect to outdoor living spaces, i.e., a patio on the 1st floor, a balcony & a lounging terrace on the 2nd floor, & a roof-top terrace.  The oversized sliding doors in the main living space on the 1st floor provide light and access to the garden patio with its lush greenery. The patio has an outdoor dining table & a shade umbrella.  A corner of the 1st-floor living area is a dedicated work-space overlooking the back garden. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided here & throughout the villa. This work-space is equipped w/ a desk, a universal charger, a printer stand, and a mini-lending library.  The villa's fully-equipped kitchen offers ample space and all the necessary tools for meal prep and cooking, as well as a large refrigerator, stove-top oven, dishwasher, microwave, & small appliances. The dining table next to the kitchen seats 6. The 1st bedroom, on the ground floor, has a Queen bed, and a window overlooking the front garden. Plus, a full bath is located just outside the door. This bedroom is also well-suited for guests who prefer not to climb stairs, or who have some limited mobility.  The 2nd floor features two additional bedrooms. The first Bedroom suite on this floor has a Queen-sized bed, and an en-suite full bath. In turn, sliding patio doors let the sunshine in and open out onto a Juliet balcony.  Like the patio doors downstairs, the sliding doors in the bedrooms on the 2nd floor both have screens that open to let in ocean breezes and window blinds for shade.  The 3rd Primary Bedroom suite in the villa features a fantastic set of wrap-around windows, along with a King-sized bed and an adjoining en-suite full bath with 2 sinks. Sliding doors open out onto a lounging terrace that overlooks the tree-tops.  All 3 bedrooms in the villa have very roomy closets & sets of drawers for clothing & luggage storage.  In turn, all 3 bedrooms are fitted w/ ceiling fans and their own air-conditioning units, allowing guests to adjust the AC temp to their preference w/ remote controls. All 3 full baths feature spacious, marble-tiled shower stalls; and bathroom amenities, including bath towels, hand towels, beach towels, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, a blow-dryer, etc. are provided.  An additional outstanding feature is the roof terrace where guests can take in 360-degree vistas of the tropical terrain and, at night, relax under a star-filled sky.  The rooftop is also set up with a dining table, umbrella, & seating for 6, along with a bar counter & a sink.   Jungle Fish, the open-air Beach Club, restaurant, & bar for Tao Ocean, is located a 2-minute walk from Villa Serenidad through shady paths. With the purchase of a beverage or food item, enjoy all the amenities of the Beach Club, including a swimming pool & outdoor showers, throughout your stay. In addition, take dips in the ocean, walks on the white-sand beach, relax in lounge chairs under the Club’s beach umbrellas, and enjoy great seafood meals from noon t0 9:00PM at the seaside tables. In addition, guests are welcome to boost their well-being at the Tao Ocean Wellness Center, located 5-minutes by car from the Villa. The Center has two outdoor, salt-water lap swimming pools, a full gym, yoga & other exercise classes. Fees for the services at the Wellness Center will apply.
