Fisher and his family, the 10,000 sq. ft., Tudor Revival Fisher mansion became a shared living space in the care of its second owner, Byron Coney who bought it from the Fishers in the 1960s and lived there until three years ago. Coney carefully preserved architectural details while also creating private living suites that allowed a balance of community and independence for the artists, musicians and others who passed through. Today Fisher house has 9 long-term residents who share and care for the common spaces and grounds, joining in nonprofit events and social activities and loving the magic of the place.
