I am an artist living primarily in Seattle, USA. I bought this apartment in a Co-Housing community to be closer to my aging parents. The apartment is situated in a new co-housing development right on the edge of Berlin. A few steps out the door and you are on fields and forest of Brandenburg as well as the hiking and biking “Mauerpfad”. Shopping ,postal services a pharmacy and a cafe are in walking distance. Public transportation is 7min by foot. There are playgrounds on the development. Several Gyms are nearby. It takes about 40 min to get to the city center, as well as to other major universities by public transport. You don't have to be involved with the co-housing community , but if you like its a wonderful group of mixed age people who like to connect and lend a hand, loan tools etc. Guest quarters/Co-working spaces and a repair/craft shop are available as well.

Comments: This eco -sustainably built apartment complex is part of a co-housing community , which lies immediately along fields and hiking paths ,yet is close to all public transport, shopping etc. It’s a modern, well insulated apartment with large windows that face south on a tree lined area. A wonderful community is a great source for connection and help should you choose to participate . Community spaces and guest apartments are available to book. You have your own balcony, a community terrace on your floor and communal garden areas to relax in.

Comments: This apartment is part of a caring co-housing community. You can choose if you want to participate or not. You’ll have caring neighbors that are mindful and warm. The co-housing project was very recently finished. Not all landscaping is in place.
