Large townhouse in very pretty part of Colorado Springs, near everything

This three story townhouse is huge and near everything, from stores and restaurants to walking/hiking areas. I'm offering the townhouse in exchange for kitty/plant care. My main concern is quality kitty care; my second concern is having someone who will remember to water my many plants. If not for the cat and plants, I'd simply lock up the townhouse and leave for a month - it's a safe area and before I had the cat and plants, I left the townhouse for half a year at a time when I had two homes. The Zillow link for the townhouse is from June, 2022, but the paint/furniture is different, and I now have brand new windows, some new window coverings, and entirely rebuilt the deck. This is my first time using sabbaticalhomes.com and I wasn't completely ready! Except for the white kitchen cabinets, I have not taken new interior photos. The townhouse has two guest queen-size beds. The top floor is "mine" with my bedroom/office/music and exercise area - I won't be home, but I'd like to avoid having those used. I have a printer I can bring downstairs if you'd like to use that. The middle floor has an odd set up, with two queen size beds, two closets, two dressers, and a huge master bath with tub, dual sinks, and shower - and of ocurse, the kitchen and living room/dining area. This double bedroom area has a desk. The basement has a bedroom with dresser and its own bathroom (shower), and there is a separate bedroom with a small desk. The living room has a tv with DISH and several streaming services, including Netflix, Apple, Hulu, Paramount Plus, YouTube and other free apps. Each bedroom has a tv with streaming services only (no DISH). I have provided a link to the Zillow ad for the house from 3.5 years ago - just be aware that the kitchen cabinets are now white and bright, and none of the furniture in the photos or the way the place is arranged is the same as those photos. I am asking a $500 refundable damage deposit and signed contract - the paperwork will comply with Colorado State law. Otherwise, this is a catsitting/plantsitting trade. I'll need you to come by no later than 9/22/2026 to introduce you to my cat and plants and give you the grand tour, and we may be able to arrange for you to spend 9/22 for your first night if I can stay with a relative. My return flight is 9/28/26 and I'd like to return home, but if necessary I could stay with a relative. I am great at answering questions within 24 hours. One of my favorite things about the townhome location is that I can walk out the door and within a couple of minutes get onto a great greenbelt trail with lots of branches/places to explore. In addition, it is a short drive to four or five other trails and parks, and only about a ten minute drive to the incredible, free Garden of the Gods City Park. If you'll be visiting Colorado Springs to attend or work at a school or USA Olympics program, it's a short drive or even bike ride to every place I know of, including Colorado College, the University of Colorado, and most medical facilities/clinics. PLEASE NOTE: I am actively trying to edit my listing. There is no charge at all, but there is a $500 fully refundable cleaning deposit if the home is clean and all is well, and a contract to sign. Please ignore any references to $200 utility charge - I'm writing to SabbaticalHomes.com for help on how to delete that.
