Welcome to our home in Akazienkiez, one of Berlin's nicest neighbourhoods! This spacious and high-ceilinged 2-bedroom appartment is suitable for a family of up to four persons. The main rooms have wooden floors. The smaller bedroom has a king size bed (1,80 x 2,00 m) and faces a quiet & leafy backyard. The larger bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed (1,40 x 2,00 m) and sports a small balcony that leads out to the street. Depending on the age of your children, we are happy to provide some toys (building blocks, Lego, Playmobil...). The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom has a tub. Please note that our house is over 120 years old, thus you need to appreciate its little quirks! The appartment is a three-minute walk away from U-Bahnhof Eisenacher Straße. The location is well-situated to reach any of Berlin's four universities either by bike or public transport (exception: the Adlershof-Campus is quite a bit away). Our neighbourhood has a friendly vibe and there are many restaurants, cafes, ice-cream parlours, gyms, yoga studios, grocery stores, boutiques and libraries in the area. We are happy to recommend our favourites. There is also a fantastic selection of playgrounds, and Volkspark Wilmersdorf is just a short walk away. On Thursdays, there is a small market at Apostel-Paulus-Platz, whereas you can stroll the larger market at Winterfeldplatz on Saturday. And finally: just around the corner, JFK held his famous "Ich bin ein Berliner"-speech at Rathaus Schöneberg. Rent includes electricty, gas and WiFi. Two week deposit required. The building is quiet and well-kept. We kindly ask that you respect our neighbours and the spirit of the house (no loud parties or overly loud music).
