We are a family of four: 1 UC Berkeley staff, 1 UCSF professor, 1 child (6), one infant (brand new!) and rent our home occasionally for a discounted rate in exchange for care of our two lovely cats: Bucatini & Pecorino, who don’t want to relocate while we are away! Home includes one master with full bath with bathtub, one kids bedroom (with twin and trundle) and one nursery (with crib). Really outfitted for kids - their bedrooms are connected with a connecting full bath with single shower and diaper changing station. Also includes a separate half bath. Skylights, outdoor space, walkable and public transit friendly neighborhood for young families. Outdoor shower, dining and lounge areas. Fully equipped kitchen filled with cookbooks, nice cookware, espresso machine, and spices. Walking distance to Berkeley Bowl, farmers markets, and hip neighborhoods like South Berkeley, College Avenue, Elmwood, Rockridge, Temescal, Bushrod Park. 10-15 minutes to UC Berkeley campus by public transit/car/bike or 30 min by foot. Driveway with available parking for one car. Easy street parking no permit required. Cat care is straightforward. They have an autofeeder, like wet food 1x day, and just need litterbox scoops and pets. It is a bonded pair of mother and her baby.
