I am a Professor of History, and I am leaving for a year's sabbatical. I am looking for a tenant, or up to 3, that are compliant with the guidelines of SabbaticalHomes.com. The house is a match for somebody that is looking for a peaceful writer's sanctuary. This historic location allows one to fully immerse oneself in the quiet, spacious and green surroundings. If one is in need of a balance to the busier city life, one can enjoy the city center of Antwerp that is easily reached by public transport in under 20 minutes (direct metro and bus).

The castle is surrounded by greenery, a cycling and walking path, as well as a pond in the backyard that is visible from the kitchen window.
