We are an academic family—two university professors and our 7-year old son—who will be spending a year in Japan on sabbatical leave. During this period, we are looking for responsible tenants to enjoy and care for our home. For academics, researchers, and other professionals, one of the apartment's highlights is its spacious study. The room comfortably accommodates two full workstations, making it ideal for couples who both work remotely. It is equipped with a sofa-bed and can serve as a guest room when needed. We particularly appreciate the shared garden, a green and tranquil space with many large, beautiful mature trees that provide shade, privacy, and a wonderful natural setting throughout the year. It offers a safe and pleasant outdoor environment for children and a relaxing retreat for adults. Nature is close at hand: the river is only a five-minute walk away, and a forest can be reached within ten minutes on foot, providing excellent opportunities for walks, cycling, outdoor activities, and recreation. The location offers an excellent balance between tranquility and accessibility. A dedicated bicycle path along the river leads directly toward the city, making for a particularly pleasant commute. Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by bike. Public transportation is also convenient, with tram and bus connections providing access to the city center in about 35 minutes. The school bus to the Munich International School stops in the street. Additional practical features include two private parking spaces in a shared underground garage, as well as a convenient shared laundry room in the basement.
