I am a professor of political science and divide my time between Paris and Switzerland, where I teach. I therefore occasionally rent out my (superb!) Parisian apartment to international colleagues for stays of minimum one month. The apartment, a studio/one-bedroom (34 m²), is located in the "Campagne à Paris" micro-neighborhood in the 20th arrondissement. On the seventh and top floor, it is a corner unit with two small balconies, and a lovely view over the rooftops of Paris. The apartment was completely and carefully renovated in 2025 using high-quality materials. It is located in an Art Deco building, also renovated in 2025, with a concierge and elevator. It features a double bed (140 cm) and a single sofa bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and mosaic tiles, an open-plan kitchen/dining area, and a separate sleeping alcove. Perfectly insulated, with solid oak parquet flooring and designer furniture (primarily Swedish from the 1950s), in a quiet building overlooking a tree-lined courtyard and a cobblestone street, the apartment offers great comfort year-round. It is also fully equipped with new, high-quality appliances: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, induction cooktop, convection oven, juicer, vacuum cleaner, blender, kettle, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, etc. This is my own apartment, tastefully decorated and filled with beautiful objects, which I am sure you will take good care of!
