Welcome to our sunny cosy 2 bedroom house in Opoho. It has everything needed for a longer stay including linen, towels and kitchen equipment including a rice cooker and a Nespresso coffee machine. There are a queen and two king single beds, all with electric blankets, and the bedrooms have good storage. A cot, highchair and toys are available if needed. The house faces the sun and is warm. It is double glazed and has three heat pumps. Previous guests have commented on the living areas’ space and light and the quietness of the street. The dining table comfortably seats 6. There is a Casio Celviano digital piano, smart TV, DVD player & DVDs, books, toys and board games. Unlimited wifi and electricity is included for stays of less than 4 weeks. For stays of 4 weeks or more electricity is included up to $410 per month, with any extra paid by the tenant. Longer term bookings have slightly discounted rental rates. There is a bus stop close by and the house is a 25 minute walk downhill (or 7 minute drive) to the University, Dental School, Dunedin Hospital and the Stadium. A supermarket, pharmacy, takeaways, cafes and the Dunedin Botanic Gardens are all within a 5 minute drive. It is 5 km to the centre of Dunedin with shopping, art gallery, public library, Town Hall, and a multitude of restaurants. There is a primary school 300m away and it is 3 km to the closest secondary school. The house has an internal garage and there is plenty of free parking on the street outside the property. As this is a quiet neighbourhood, no noisy parties please. We have enjoyed hosting international academics and professionals and their families and would be happy to answer any queries you have.
