Live in a friendly residential neighborhood just a short walk or bike ride from UVA Medical Center and Main Grounds. We are two UVA professors who will be in California on Sabbatical for the academic year. Start and end dates flexible. Strongly prefer someone who can stay for whole academic year. Photos show personal effects, most of which will be put into storage before you move in. We can discuss what you'd like to use in terms of household basics, kids stuff, etc. But do be aware this is our home, not an AirBnB. All utilities and internet included. Regular cleaning and lawn service also included. House is relatively new build with good HVAC system, etc. Kitchen is large with double oven, great for cooking and baking! Comfortable living room and dining room with artsy decor. Front porch and back deck. Parking for one car in the back, but we typically park on street in front. Ask about renting our buying our cargo e-bike! Bedroom 1: Large primary bedroom with en suite full bathroom with two sinks. Queen bed. Vaulted ceiling. Bedroom 2: Set up as kids bedroom with twin bed. Bedroom 3: Set up as office with double futon. Bedrooms can be reconfigured according to your needs. NOTE: It may be possible to rent as a two bedroom (we'd use 2 or 3 as storage) at reduced rate. Bathroom 1: Downstairs off kitchen, has a shower Bathroom 2: Upstairs, near secondary bedrooms Bathroom 3: En suite to primary bedroom. LOCATION: 0.8 mile to UVA Hospital, 0.9 mile to main grounds 0.9 mile to Main Street and 10th Street restaurants 1.8 miles to Downtown Mall .05 mile to Tall Oaks Elementary .04 mile to Charlottesville Middle School 1 block to bus stop No smoking. No cats due to allergies. Dogs possible on approval with additional pet rent and deposit. If you have kids, we have had a GREAT experience with Tall Oaks Elementary and are happy to share.
