I am looking for a responsible, respectful, and communicative guest, couple, or family who will treat the home with care during my sabbatical. An ideal match would be someone looking for a peaceful, fully furnished home base in the Bay Area for work, study, research, writing, or family life. The home may be especially suitable for a visiting scholar, educator, professional, graduate student, or family who values a quiet residential setting with convenient access to San Francisco and surrounding areas. I prefer someone interested in a medium- to longer-term stay, ideally one month or longer, between July and January, though I am open to discussing exact dates. The landlord’s family lives upstairs and is happy to welcome guests and assist when needed, while also respecting guests’ privacy. The unit is decorated with anime and movie items, including One Piece and Harry Potter. If you are a fan, you may enjoy being surrounded by these fun personal touches. Additionally, if you play music, you may enjoy the electric piano and electric drum set, both of which allow the volume to be adjusted as appropriate during the day. I am looking for guests who do not smoke, do not have pets, and will keep the home clean and well cared for. I would especially appreciate guests who will enjoy the neighborhood, the Bay Area’s community and nature, and the convenience of the location.
