Renting out my beautiful home in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood of West Philadelphia while I am in Brooklyn, NY for the year. This 1920 home was entirely renovated in 2021 and has new wood floors, walls, and appliances. This is my first home and I've taken care to fill it with books, art, and thoughtful furnishings. Seeking renters who can take good care of and enjoy the home that I've created. Ground floor: Upon entering you'll see a gorgeous enclosed porch filled with plants, storage for your coats and shoes, and a full sized sofa. In the living room there is a 55" TV equipped with Fire smart TV, high quality blue tooth speakers, a huge leather sofa for lounging and entertaining, and beautiful art made by myself and friends. This open space leads to a reading area with a small trampoline for working out. Past this is a dining area for 6 complete with a mid century dining set. Through the door you'll find the kitchen. I love to cook and it's fully equipped with an electric stove, appliances, and dishwear. The basement entrance is in the kitchen and down these stairs you will find a laundry room with a large capacity washer, a tool chest, and a huge 600 squarefoot bedroom complete with a queen sized memory foam bed, large dresser, desk, plus its own bathroom and kitchenette. Let's not forget the backyard! You can enter through the kitchen or laundry room. Backyard is complete with low maintenance mulch, a table, chairs, and lounge chair. It gets SUNNY back there, enough so to have your coffee outside on winter days and get your daily dose of vitamin d. There are two staircases leading to upstairs- one through the kitchen and the other through the living room. The master bedroom is furnished with a memory foam king sized bed, large dresser, and reading chair. A smaller bedroom includes a twin sized memory foam bed that pulls out into a queen, a small dresser. The third bedroom upstairs has a full sized pullout futon and a Soul Cycle workout bike. The upstairs bathroom includes a large soaking tub and gorgeous tile work. Seeking a renter for October 1. I am willing to discuss being flexible about this date or renting half of the space.
