We'd love to find someone to live in and enjoy our home while we're away for the 2026-2027 school year. This is the first-floor unit of a duplex we own. It features a bedroom with a king bed, and a second bedroom currently set up as a kids room, but could be re-accommodated as an extra bedroom or living space. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is fully equipped, including cast iron cookware, large wok, air fryer, food processor, Instant Pot, high-quality coffee maker, Berky water filter, and more. A cozy living / dining room and large office include books, games, a Peloton, printer, and other amenities. Outside, relax on the shady porch or backyard, which includes a fire pit, native pollinator garden, vegetable garden, and kids play structure. Full-size washer and dryer are in the basement. We can discuss use of winter/outdoor gear, bikes, and other potentially useful items we'll be leaving behind! Our block and surrounding neighborhood are quiet, tree-lined, and residential, but still walkable to the local food co-op, a few shops and restaurants, the Mississippi River, parks, and University of Minnesota campus. Bike paths are plentiful, and by car you are 5 minutes from downtown and have easy access to the Twin Cities' main highways to get anywhere you need to go.
